I can proudly say that watched this movie. This may sound baduy to everybody but I was actually looking forward to watching this film. It took me two weeks to find someone who would willingly watch this movie with me. It also amazed me that everyone of my friends became unavailable this week.
So today was the day that I dragged my sister into the cinema. Hey, blood is thicker than water. It must be my destiny to watch this movie because at Robinsons, it was buy 1 take 1 for movie tickets. So we ended up paying P60 for the both of us.
I really laughed so hard in this movie. Every Filipino can relate to this movie because there are a lot of Vilma Santos movie quotes. I cannot describe how funny this film is. With lines like “Yesterday minahal ko sya, Today patay na sya, Tomorrow….dadalawin ka nya” you can never go wrong. Hehehe. I give a two thumbs up for Eugene Domingo and Pokwang. Sandara Park also gave a good performance but she was drowned out by the two lead actresses. Joseph Bitangcol was another story, first his hair looked gross…hello the F4 era was over 2 years ago and his face was caked with foundation.
The story revolved around the Eugene and Pokwang being hardcore diehard Vilmanians, even the names of the cast was related to Vilma. For example, Eugene’s husband was named Doods (Edu Manzano), Sandara is Lucky Girl, Joseph is Luis/Lucky Boy, their new boytoy is named Ralph…hehe.
So if you don’t care what people say about you, watch this movie. It will tickle your funny bone and give you a new appreciation of Vilma Santos.
I started this blogging thing due to the insistence of my sister. So I’m wondering what to write about, as I looked down to the floor and to my toes. I saw my right big toe which was “baog”. I was baffled on how come it was like that way. Was it the hardbound book that fell on it the week before? My metal box full of coins which fell on it the day before? *Sigh* Does it always have to fall on the same toe…..grrr …
What do they call “baog nga kuko” in English? Hematoma formation under the nail? Dead nail? Pooling of blood under the nail bed? Maybe Americans don’t have “baog” toenails very often because they don’t have a specific term for it….hehe
So in the season of cute flip flops and sandals, I refuse to wear nail polish to hide my toe…. Black is beautiful d ba…hehe
First post in my new blog…… what to say…hmmm…..well, i just came back from sm city with my best friend. I havent seen her in 3 months so we had dinner at sbarro (baked ziti with mixed sauce…hmm….). We ended up talking about stuff we have been doing for the past 3 months. It took an hour to update me with the latest gossip and it took 5 minutes to tell her what i have been doing. tsk tsk….. oh well, that’s life ….
I have this brilliant idea on how to lose weight, my tea diet. I bought this kind of tea that is supposed to make you thinner and it has chinese characters which i cannot understand. At first when you open the packet, it smells like kerosene…really, truly, promise. Okay, so i poured water and the smell of paint grew stronger …hmm..(time out this might not be good for my liver) but no, i still went for it. Even if my 5 senses and all my common sense tells me not to drink, for the sake of beauty, i will…and i did. You know the feeling of drinking gasoline or diluted baygon…maybe tiodan (an insecticide banned for harmful effects on animals especially humans) ….that is exactly what i felt or imagined i would feel after drinking those corrosive substances. For my first try, i drank 2 tall glasses of “hilo” erm slimming tea pala after feeling a little funny, i read the only english words on the packet ….”drink only one cup a day” erm…. shucks cge nalang
Moral lesson: If you want to lose weight…exercise….
